Trump's Family Member Receives Expert Guidance from Tiger Woods Ahead of Professional Golf Debut
This young athlete boasts impressive online audience
The young golfer can count on numerous well-known backers as she begins her first LPGA appearance on Thursday.
This teenage golfer, who is connected to a former US president, obtained a sponsor's invitation to participate at the Annika competition in the Sunshine State.
Her grandfather, someone who loves golf, possesses several golf courses and often competes against his granddaughter.
"He's fairly competent. I can't reveal details but we play some close matches," she stated.
Kai explained that Trump, who won't be present, told her: "Simply don't get nervous."
"He practically advised me to go out there and enjoy myself," she explained.
"To me, he's simply a regular grandfather. He can't make it this weekend. He's occupied with presidential duties, so he's somewhat preoccupied."
Being non-professional, Kai has participated in only three events in 2024 and holds ranking 461 in the American Junior Golf Association standings.
However she can seek guidance from golf legend, who is dating Vanessa.
"He stands as the greatest golfer in the world," the young golfer said.
"Additionally, he's a superior person. He suggested me to compete, relax, adapting to whatever happens."
Kai will face multiple the biggest names in the sport at the competition, featuring second-ranked Nelly Korda, England's Charley Hull, professional Thompson and last year's winner Lilia Vu.
The LPGA mentioned that Kai's presence exposes the sport to new audiences, specifically with the next generation.
The social media influencer maintains millions of followers and just introduced her own clothing and lifestyle company.
The competition starts at 17:30 GMT.
